Samsung has opened nationwide sales for its seventh-generation foldable smartphones and new wearables in India. The lineup includes the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, Z Flip7 FE, as well as the Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic.
All newly launched products are now available for purchase on Samsung.com, Amazon, Flipkart, and offline retail stores.
The company witnessed a strong response during the pre-order window, recording over 2.1 lakh bookings in just two days. This figure is close to the pre-order volume of the Galaxy S25 series, indicating continued interest in foldable devices.
The Galaxy Z Fold7 offers an expanded display experience aimed at users who prioritize productivity and media consumption. It is equipped with a 200MP camera and supports Samsung’s Gemini Live AI, enabling interactive features via voice and image recognition. New AI-enabled tools include automatic object removal from images through Generative Edit.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 emphasizes convenience and portability. Its external FlexWindow can display widgets, notifications, and music controls without opening the phone. Gemini AI integration provides hands-free assistance, while FlexCam enables versatile photo and video capture. An updated Portrait Studio feature allows creative pet photo enhancements.
A more affordable option, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, begins at Rs 89,999. It delivers core foldable functionalities at a lower cost, targeting users interested in transitioning to foldable phones.
The Galaxy Watch8 and Watch8 Classic extend Samsung's AI capabilities to wearable devices. The watches feature continuous heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and real-time stress feedback. A new Antioxidant Index measures oxidative stress levels to support wellness monitoring.
